Fair-ever Young – Celebrating 150 Years!

Experience the 2024 Ventura County Fair and celebrate its 150th birthday with an unforgettable event. Enjoy thrilling rides, live entertainment, and mouth-watering food.

The Ventura County Fair returns every summer to the Ventura County Fairgrounds at 62-acre Seaside Park beside the sea. Revel in carousel kisses, exhibits ranging from art to agriculture, outdoor concerts, a professional rodeo, 4-H livestock, rainbow fireworks, the enticing smells of fried dough and cinnamon, hand-holding under the stars, happy shrieks, and memories made on the sea breeze.

This year, the Grandstand Arena features a bigger stage facing the bleachers. Attendees can enjoy concerts for free on a first-come, first-served basis, with gates opening at 4 PM before each show. For an enhanced experience, upgrade to VIP seating and standing areas in the arena with an additional ticket purchase.

Early Bird Ticket Pricing

Take advantage of early bird pricing and secure your tickets by June 30th! General admission starts at $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.

DIRECTIONS

From Los Angeles

The Ventura County Fairgrounds are located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 90 minutes north of Los Angeles.

From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) northbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit or the California Street exit. Turn left towards the ocean to Harbor Blvd., turn right on Harbor and continue until you reach The Ventura County Fairgrounds at the corner of Harbor and Figueroa.

From Santa Barbara

The Ventura County Fair is located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 40 minutes south of Santa Barbara. From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) southbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit, make an immediate right on Harbor Boulevard and proceed to the Ventura County Fairgrounds at Seaside Park.

PARKING

Parking at the Ventura County Fair is $20.00 per car. Parking at the Fairgrounds is limited. Free shuttle buses are provided from off Fairground sites located around Ventura. Find everything you need to know about off site parking here.

Wise out-of-town visitors might consider riding the train into town. The Amtrak stop is right at the Fairgrounds, and it’s only a ten-minute walk to several hotels and downtown Ventura.

All Fairgoers get in for $3 before 3pm.

YOUTH DAY: FRIDAY, AUGUST 2

All Fair visitors age 12 and under will be admitted free all day.

DIA DED LA FAMILIA: SUNDAY, AUGUST 4

All Fairgoers get in for $5 before 5pm

SENIORS & PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES DAY: TUESDAY, AUGUST 6

All Fair visitors age 65 and over will be admitted free all day. All disabled persons and their companion will be admitted free all day. Gates open early at 11 am on August 6 only.

VCCU MEMBER DAY: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7

Members of the Ventura County Credit Union can purchase tickets at $4 discount at a special tent located at the Main Gate until 8 pm.

MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDER DAY: THURSDAY, AUGUST 8

Members of the military with a current, valid ID get in free and Individual First Responder admission is free.

PAY ONE PRICE CARNIVAL WRISTBAND DAYS:

  • Thursday, August 1
  • Tuesday, August 6
  • Wednesday, August 7

Wristbands will be sold for $45 until 6 pm and can be used until 7 pm. Wristbands are sold online or in-person at the Fair.

Wristbands are only valid on the day of purchase and do not include admission to the Fair.
